Day 41 - Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Day 41 - Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - Owen passed out on the couch before 9:00 pm. He wasn't watching TV or anything, he just went to the couch, curled up, and passed out. I guess that's what a busy snow day will do to ya.

Day 40 - Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Day 40 - Tuesday, February 9, 2010 - Liam LOVES to feel the baby move.

Day 39 - Monday, February 8, 2010

Day 39 - Monday, February 8, 2010 - Owen enjoys his Kindergarten homework assignment. What's not to like about scissors, gluesticks, construction paper, and paper piecing?

Day 38 - Sunday, February 7, 2010

Day 38 - Sunday, February 7, 2010 - Coach Al gives Liam a pep talk and some pointers after a rough match at Liam's first open (non-novice) wrestling tournament. Liam finished in 3rd place and we couldn't have been more proud of him.

Day 37 - Saturday, February 6, 2010

Day 37 - Saturday, February 6, 2010 - Jordyn and I went shopping with Alicia and Diana Kuligowski to find dresses for the girls to wear to the upcoming Valentine's dance at school. Jordyn fell in love with this gold dress and it looked absolutely gorgeous on her. She bought it with her own money and it was worth the $90 she paid for it.

Day 36 - Friday, February 5, 2010

Day 36 - Friday, February 5, 2010 - Movie night.

Day 35 - Thursday, February 4, 2010

Day 35 - Thursday, February 4, 2010 - Picture Day at Oxford Youth Wrestling Club. (Liam is third row from the bottom, far right)

Day 34 - Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Day 34 - Wednesday, February 3, 2010 - Today was Jordyn's special "Love Day" and both boys made her a Valentine's card/love note that we hung on the refrigerator.

Day 33 - Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Day 33 - Tuesday, February 2, 2010 - Today was Liam's special "Love Day" and Jordyn's act of kindness towards him was to let him listen to her iTouch. He loved it and sang along to lots of songs. It was cute watching them share this moment.

Day 32 - Monday, February 1, 2010

Day 32 - Monday, February 1, 2010 - A little bit of holiday decor and our family love jar. This container has a heart with every family member's name on it. Each day from now until Valentine's Day, we will pick a name out of the jar and that person will be treated with extra love from the rest of the family for that day. The first name picked was mine! Owen instantly went and refilled my water glass and Jordyn made me a smoothie. This is going to be fun!

Day 31 - Sunday, January 31, 2010

Day 31 - Sunday, January 31, 2010 - Yes, I spent 4 1/2 hours of my Sunday "helping" Liam complete his 3rd grade homework assignment. While I was cursing every minute of it (well, every minute past that first hour), I loved the final result and am hoping it makes its way home from school in good condition.

Day 30 - Saturday, January 30, 2010

Day 30 - Saturday, January 30, 2010 - Kevin and I enjoyed a fancy night out in Detroit. We met the Petoskeys, along with the Basingers, Webers, and Davises at Mosaic as a surprise 39th birthday celebration for Amy. This was my delicious Warm Pistachio Goat Cheese Salad. Mmm Mmm Good.

Day 29 - Friday, January 29, 2010

Day 29 - Friday, January 29, 2010 - Tonight I was invited to a work function at a co-worker's home in Clarkston. This was one side of her wine cellar tasting room. I could have sat in that room ALL night....the ambiance, the aroma, the chill of the temperature and humidity controlled environment. I told her to invite me back in the summer when I can properly enjoy it. Heaven.

Day 27 - Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Day 27 - Wednesday, January 27, 2010 - This little kitten is always finding and retrieving his younger brother's lost little mittens from the bus. Thank you, Liam.

Day 26 - Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Day 26 - Tuesday, January 26, 2010 - How has my daughter reached the age of 14 without ever having seen OKLAHOMA! ?? My niece Bailey was recently cast as Ado Annie (my favorite character) in her homeschool theater group's Spring production (even though she was hoping to be cast as boring old Laurey). So Jordyn borrowed the DVD from her friend Megan for us to watch. She was amused that I knew the lyrics to all the songs (and of course, I couldn't help singing along) and shocked when I told her how many times I've seen the movie. Easily 30. Easily. "I Caint Say No!"

Day 25 - Monday, January 25, 2010

Day 25 - Monday, January 25, 2010 - Owen at home talking to Kevin in Indiana, telling him "two things" he learned and school today. Lunch and Recess.
